Meeting Called to Order at 12:05 p.m. by President Carolyn Bostwick

Governing Board Actions

I.                    Agenda approved

II.                 Approval of minutes from last Governing Board Meeting

III.               SPONSORSHIP – Jennifer Schirm offered to make up and provide packet of benefits for sponsors

IV.              EDUCATION – Nonda confirmed with Carolyn that she would provide MOCA training for  the education hour at the next general meeting March 7^th

V.                 WAYS & MEANS – Julie to provide gift of stadium blanket.  Jennifer to provide wine holder and bottle of wine for raffle at general meeting

      VI.       NEWSLETTER – Sharon to take WCR flier and applications to Bend                  

                   MLS Tuesday and Cat will take them to Redmond MLS

      VII.     MEMBERSHIP – Carolyn clarified that Myra is VP of national membership

                   And Catherine is committee chair.  Catherine will pass out volunteer forms at general meeting to recruit for her committee.

Carolyn scheduled Leadership Orientation for next board meeting schedule for March 14^th 11:00 At COAR Office.

To Calculate market share, contact the Local Board(s)/Association(s) of REALTORS that share your Chapter boundaries and obtain their current member count(s). Then calculate the percentage. For example, if your Board has 1000 members and you have 100 national members, your market share is 10%.

In metro areas, several Chapters may have street or geographic boundaries to delineate the areas you serve, with your members associated with one large Board of REALTORS. If this is the case for you, divide the total number of board members by the # of WCR Chapters sharing its boundaries and use that number to calculate market share. For example, if the Board has 1200 members and 3 Chapters share boundaries with the board, then 1200 divided by 3 = 400. If you have 100 members then your market share of 400 is 25 %.
