Sharon Abrams, broker
CRS

My family and I have lived in Oregon for 36 years, owned property in the Bend/Sunriver area for over 30 years, and lived permanently in the area for the last 17 years.  It is not only our home, but our favorite place to be.   There is a peace to this area that seems to be unique, and I take great pleasure in introducing others to it and watching them experience the excitement for the first time.  Having been born in the Midwest, Illlinois,  and lived in California, we have found a perfect area for living...here.
I have worked as a professional in the medical field, been married 39 years to a physician, raised 4 children who are all professionals, and know that life is here and now, this isn't a dress rehearsal, and where we spend our days is important.  The Bend area and all it has to offer is a wonderful, nourishing place where many people come for vacations and time off.  But for those who live here, we have the best of all worlds.
If you would like help finding your little corner of paradise, getting to know the area more, please feel free to call me, and I will be most happy to help you find what you are looking for and the
lifestyle you'd like to achieve.

Women's Council of REALTORS® Names 2007 REALTOR® of the Year

Debora Runnion-Jessup, a broker with the Hasson Company in Portland, was named the 2007 REALTOR® of the Year by the Oregon State Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS®.  She has served in local, state and national governance positions since joining the organization in 1996, including State President in 2003.
Networking is an important benefit of belonging to the WCR and Runnion-Jessup says she gets about six referrals a year from the referral network.  The Women's Council of REALTORS® is a nationwide community of real estate professionals with more than 17,000 members.

AT A GLANCE
  • The average WCR member has a gross income of $117,900 and has 17.5 years of experience in real estate.
  • 70 percent of WCR members have 10 or more years experience in real estate.
  • Among more than 700 U.S. women's organizations, WCR is the 12th largest.
  • 93 percent of survey respondents reported that WCR membership gives them a "sense of professional pride."

Cat Zwicker-Grant, broker
Central Oregon Chapter 2006 Member of the Year

From pioneers to ranchers and rodeo types, as well as farmers and politicians, I hail from a family steeped in the pioneer spirit and history that is Oregon!  I share the entrepenurial spirit of my family and their work ethic.  When I am not engaged in the marketing and selling of homes, I can usually be found outdoors, whether in the garden, hiking, snow skiing, or window shopping with my family.

I have been a real estate professional for over 14 years, 11 of which I have performed as a top-producing agent in my industry. Prior to relocating to Central Oregon and Bill Jordan & Co. Realtors, I began my real estate career in Virginia assisting Military and Government Contractors with their real estate needs. As Managing Broker for a small Northern Virginia firm, I assisted in the management of a Corporate Relocation Contract for the Federal Government and oversaw a Navy Housing Contract.

Currently I am active with the Central Oregon Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) as the Central Oregon Chapter President for 2008.  As part of the WCR experience I attended a National Leadership Academy in Chicago to home my skills as a leader, mentor and mediator.  I believe in the mission of WCR  to provide an environment in which members can form, nurture and maximize relationships at many levels, from bottom-line business transactions to ongoing mentoring for career development and try to bring these same goals and dedication to all of my real estate transactions and client services.

As a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), I work actively to promote the ethics and excellence necessary to  provide not only quality service, but satisfaction to my clients. There are over one million REALTORS® in business today, and less than 5% of those have acheived their CRS designation. In today's high impact market place you need more than just a REALTOR®, you need a CRS!  CRS members have completed a rigourous course load  of advanced training and proven they have the actual experience and commitment to be among the best in their profession.

I have also hold the additional following designations:
Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) trained to work with the specific concerns of clients at a variety of life's stages.
     A member of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI);
     Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR).

I  pride myself on my integrity, dedication, and enthusiasm.
